Hi! My name is Pooja and I live in a suburban home in Catherine Field with a good-sized, fully fenced backyard. Our household is a busy, happy one with my husband, our 2-year-old son, our 6-year-old Jack Russell - Zoe, and myself. Zoe is a typical Jack Russell: curious, cheeky, and always up for a sniff around the yard. She's sociable and loves having a mate to share the space with.

We've had Zoe for the last 6 years when we got her home at 6 weeks in 2020 (Covid lockdown decision and hands-down one of the best decisions we've made). I love having dogs around because those warm doggy cuddles are priceless and dogs are what make a home feel complete. I'm patient, I pay attention to the little things, and I'll send you photos and updates so you're never left wondering how they're going. Believe me, I know the feeling of leaving your puppy behind while you're on vacation or work so rest assured that I will look after your fur baby just like my own.

What I offer

• Boarding: Your dog stays in our home as part of the family, with regular walks, play, cuddles and their usual routine and feeding schedule.
• Day care: Drop-off in the morning, pick-up in the afternoon with backyard play, rest time and a walk.
• Pick-up & Drop: We can discuss pick-up & drop for your fur baby depending on day/time/your location etc

Who's a good fit

Small to medium dogs are ideal. Because we have a toddler at home, I'm not able to take dogs who are bigger, very excited around small children, or who need to be kept separated all day. Dogs should be desexed, vaccinated, well-socialised, and toilet trained. A meet-and-greet with Zoe beforehand is preferred, so everyone feels comfortable.

You'd love to know:

I work from home permanently so your pet will never be left alone for long stretches. However, there may be times when your pet is on their own for a couple of hours while we run errands or head out for work or social commitments, but they'll always have a comfy spot, fresh water and plenty of attention before and after. We'll also make sure that they're walked, fed, and settled first. Please let me know about any medication, special diets or quirks, and I'll make sure they're looked after just the way you like. Please note that I am not qualified to administer injections or other similar medication but our vet is only a few minutes drive.
