My wife and I are semi-retired animal lovers with a beautiful labradoodle named Flynn. We live in a quiet area on a fully fenced one-acre property, giving dogs plenty of space to safely explore, relax and play.

We have a long history working with animals, having previously bred dogs and also lived on a rural property where we cared for cattle, sheep and alpacas. This has given us experience with animals of all temperaments, energy levels and needs.

We generally host 1–2 dogs at a time to ensure each dog receives plenty of attention, care and a calm environment.

Our daily routine includes morning and afternoon activity, with Flynn typically walked around 5km each day. Visiting dogs are welcome to join us on walks (depending on their ability), whether that’s local parks, the beach, or short outings into town. We also balance this with plenty of rest time so dogs don’t become overwhelmed.

We take a gentle and considered approach when introducing new dogs, starting on lead and allowing them to settle at their own pace. If a dog is feeling anxious or needs space, we are able to separate them and provide a quiet, comfortable area until they feel secure.

Flynn is a very easy-going, friendly dog who enjoys the company of others, but we always prioritise safe and gradual introductions.

We only accept vaccinated, well-socialised dogs that are comfortable in a home environment.

As we only work part-time, we are home most of the day, so your dog will rarely be left alone.

We also provide regular updates, photos and messages so you can feel confident and relaxed while your pet is in our care.

We have access to a trusted local vet, as well as a 24-hour emergency vet in Geelong for peace of mind.

Your dog will be treated like part of our family and cared for as if they were our own.
