About me: Having grown up with pets my entire life, I’ve gained extensive experience in animal care and a deep love for all species. My passion for animals led me to volunteer in Nepal, where I worked with over 150 rescue dogs and earned an animal care certificate for my work there. I later moved to Bristol to pursue a career in natural history television (I'm a massive nature and wildlife enthusiast!), where I worked for over three years at the Natural History Unit. After my contract ended, I began pet and house sitting full-time through the UK app Rover, spending over nine months further developing my animal care experience. My time on Rover was incredibly rewarding, I had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of incredible pets, building wonderful relationships with both animals and their owners. I truly loved every moment! I’ve recently moved back home to Australia (I was born here but grew up in Scotland) and hope to build the same meaningful pet-sitting relationships I developed in the UK. I’m excited to start that journey again, and I hope Pawshake will be the place to do it. Safety, trust & environment: I've cared for dogs and cats of all breeds and ages—from playful puppies and curious kittens to more relaxed senior pets, those recovering from surgery or illness, and animals needing a bit of extra assistance due to special needs. A typical day: Whether you have a high-energy dog who needs long walks or a more laid-back companion who prefers restful days, I'm happy to adapt to any energy level. I love engaging with animals through play and I’m more than happy to practice any training you're working on. My goal is to make their time with me as fun and comfortable as possible, tailoring my care to their unique needs and preferences.
