Hi! I'm Valeria, a 29-year-old Italian researcher currently living in Nollamara, Perth.

Back home in Italy, my family and I have a wonderful dog who is now staying with my parents while I'm in Australia. Leaving him behind was one of the hardest parts of moving overseas, and spending time with other people's pets is my way of staying close to what I love most.

I've grown up around dogs and have hands-on experience caring for my own, as well as helping friends and family with their pets whenever they needed a hand. I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine and preferences, and I always take the time to build trust and help them feel comfortable.

Whether your pet is full of energy or a little shy, I'll adapt my approach to suit them. I enjoy taking dogs on walks of 30–60 minutes (or whatever best matches their age and energy level), playing with them, giving them plenty of affection, and making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for. I'm also happy to follow your instructions regarding feeding, medication (if required), training routines and any special preferences, because I know consistency is important for your pet's wellbeing.

If I encounter a challenging situation, I always stay calm and patient. I never force interactions and prefer to let pets approach me at their own pace. During walks, I'm attentive to our surroundings, avoid unnecessary risks and always put your pet's safety first. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I would contact you immediately and, if necessary, take your pet to your preferred veterinarian or the nearest emergency veterinary clinic.

I'm currently available on weekends, and depending on my work schedule, I may also be available on some weekday evenings. To make sure every pet receives my full attention, I prefer caring for one household at a time.

I live in Nollamara and work in Osborne Park, so I'm happy to provide dog walks and home visits in these areas and the surrounding suburbs. If you're unsure whether you're within my service area, feel free to send me a message!

At the moment I don't offer boarding or daycare because I'm renting and unfortunately can't host pets at my home.

As a researcher, I'm organised, reliable and detail-oriented. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after a member of your family, and I'll care for your pet with the same love, patience and attention I give my own. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your furry friend is in safe hands.
