About Kimberley

We are a couple (Kim and Kevin) who love caring for pets and are based in the Gungahlin area.

If you are concerned about Covid 19 please see the procedures we have implemented at the bottom of our profile.

Our goal is to make sure as many pets as possible can stay in their own homes when their families have to be away for work, holidays or emergencies thus minimising their distress. We have grown up with animals all our life and have also volunteered with the RSPCA. We like to customise our services for each pet and we have years of experience with older animals including, kidney and thyroid issues. Our 17 year old cat, Jai, had kidney issues for five years and with lots of love and a special diet he lead an active, happy life right up until he died a few years ago. We now have a lovely old Devon Rex and very cheeky Mini-lop rabbit as part of the family.

We only take a few bookings at a time to allow for lots of snuggles and play time. Our pet visiting service is only available in the Gungahlin area so that we can keep our rates low and we can spend more time with our furry clients.

We can also have inside cats for overnight stays. For short stays most cats are happier at home but if your cat moves easily, has specific needs, or you are away for a longer period please contact me to discuss. The fee for boarding starts at $40 per night.

By negotiation We will also collect mail, put out bins and water your plants. There is usually no extra charge for this.

We have implemented procedures to minimise the spread of Covid19 and help keep us all safe.

1. We will use our own leads for any dog walking.

2. We will use hand sanitiser before and after visits and dog walking.

3. We ask you to tell us if you are unwell or in quarantine so we can assess if we can take your booking.

4. Please advise as soon as possible if you are unwell or think you have had a suspected Covid19 contact.

5. We will advise you immediately if we are unwell or have a suspected Covid19 contact.

6. In many circumstances we can arrange contact-less services via backyard access. Eg you can put your dog into the yard to be walked. Please talk to us about options.

7. We have both had three vaccine doses so are as protected as we can be.
