Hi, I’m Claudia – a freelance creative who works from home and is very happy to share her day with other people’s pets.

I know how strange it can feel to leave your fur person with someone new. You don’t just want a “dog walker” or a “cat feeder” – you want someone they’re actually comfortable with, who pays attention and treats them like their own. That’s what I try to do.

I live in Newtown and spend a lot of time walking around the area, so I know the quiet streets, good sniff spots and safe parks for different types of dogs. If your pet is more of a shy indoor cat than a park-lover, I’m just as happy doing calm home visits, keeping things clean and steady and sticking to their routine.

I’ve always been around animals and I tend to form a pretty quick bond with them – the kind where they know I’m “their person” while you’re away, not just someone dropping in with food and leaving. I follow your instructions properly, ask questions if I’m not sure, and I’d rather check something twice than assume.

I can help with:

– Dog walks from your home (not rushed, plenty of time to sniff and explore)

– Cat and small pet visits (feeding, litter, play/cuddles if they want it, plants and mail)

– House sitting in your home so your pet can stay on their own couch, with their own smells and routine

Because I freelance from home, I’m fairly flexible and can usually work around your pet’s schedule instead of forcing them into mine. I send photo and text updates so you know what they’re up to and can actually relax while you’re away.
