A Loving Home Away From Home

Hi, we’re Monique & Henry! We’re a couple in our early 30s living in Neutral Bay, and we genuinely love having dogs around. We’ve both grown up with dogs, including Fox Terriers, German Shepherds and King Charles Spaniels, and we’re experienced dog rescue volunteers with hands-on experience in dog sitting, walking and fostering.

Your dog will be treated like one of our own. We understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, and we take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while you’re away.

Our Home and Availability

We have a flexible work-from-home arrangement, meaning one of us is always home during the weekdays, and we’re both home on weekends. Your pup will have plenty of company, attention and supervision throughout the day.

We have a securely fenced property, but we never leave dogs outside unsupervised. We’re very mindful of safety and make sure dogs are always cared for in a secure environment.

We’re lucky to be close to Andersen Park, Hayes Beach (dog-friendly) and Foresyth Park, so there are plenty of lovely spots nearby for walks, sniffing adventures and playtime.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

We like to give dogs a good balance of exercise, enrichment, relaxation and affection, while keeping to their usual routine as much as possible.

Morning: A walk to stretch their legs, explore the neighbourhood and enjoy some sniffing time.

During the day: Plenty of company, cuddles and relaxing at home while we work. We also have a treat mat for some extra mental stimulation when they fancy a little activity.

Midday: Another walk and a chance to get outside for fresh air.

Afternoon and evening: Time to unwind, followed by some playtime at the park. There are also local dog meet-ups around 5 pm, which we’re familiar with and are happy to visit with dogs who enjoy socialising and are comfortable around other dogs.

Of course, every dog is different. We tailor walks, playtime and social activities to their age, energy levels, temperament and needs. If your dog prefers a quieter life, we’re just as happy with a relaxed afternoon at home!

Experienced, Attentive and Comfortable With Extra Care

Our experience goes beyond just walks and cuddles. Through fostering and sitting, we’ve cared for dogs over both short stays and longer periods of more than two weeks.

Recently, we cared for a pup for six weeks and administered their medication as needed. We’ve also supported a foster dog through the recovery process following desexing. We’re comfortable following care instructions, administering medication when required and giving dogs the patience and attention they need to recover comfortably.

We also have over six references and a 100% repeat booking rate on another pet-sitting platform, which we’re very happy to share.

We know how much trust it takes to leave your beloved pet in someone else’s care. We’ll keep you updated, follow your instructions closely and do everything we can to make their stay happy, safe and stress-free.
