We’re a UK couple who absolutely love dogs and miss having them around while we’re away from home.

Between us, we’ve grown up with dogs our whole lives and have experience caring for a wide range of breeds, sizes, and personalities—from French Bulldogs (our first dog together!), to German Shorthaired Pointers, Labradors, and everything in between.

Whether your dog is a professional ball chaser, an expert sofa snuggler, a senior who enjoys a slower pace, or a high-energy adventurer who loves long walks, we’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, enrichment, and affection. We understand that every dog is unique, and we take the time to learn their routine, preferences, and quirks so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

We are also confident caring for reactive dogs and understand that they often need a little extra patience, structure, and understanding. We have experience following specific management strategies, recognising stress signals, maintaining safe distances from triggers, and adapting walks to suit each dog’s needs. We know that reactive dogs aren’t “bad dogs”—they simply need handlers who can read their body language and advocate for them. We’re happy to continue any training approaches or routines that you already have in place to help your dog feel secure and successful.

We are comfortable administering oral medication, managing feeding schedules, reinforcing basic training and boundaries, and caring for dogs with different exercise requirements. We believe consistency is important, so we’ll do our best to maintain the routine your dog is used to at home.

We live in our own apartment with no resident pets, providing a calm environment for dogs who enjoy having their own space. We have a secure balcony, a large grass area directly outside our building, and two dog parks within a five-minute walk.

James works full-time in construction, while Sophie works in mental health and works from home three days a week. On weekends, dogs would never be left alone for more than an absolute maximum of four hours, and we’re happy to discuss individual needs if your dog requires more company than that.

Most importantly, we’ll care for your dog as if they were our own—with lots of love, attention, cuddles, and regular updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in safe hands. ❤️
