Hi, we are Arthur and Maëla, a caring and reliable couple based in North Coogee. We genuinely love animals and understand how important it is for pet owners to know that their companions are safe, comfortable and well cared for while they are away.

Between us, we have experience caring for dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, ferrets and horses. We have grown up surrounded by animals and have spent many years looking after family pets, including energetic dogs, senior dogs, shy cats and rescued animals. We are patient, attentive and happy to adapt to each pet’s personality, habits and needs.

Arthur has cared closely for family dogs, including a Beagle and a Labrador. He enjoys spending time outdoors, walking dogs, brushing them, playing with them and giving them gentle attention. He is comfortable with calm neighbourhood walks, beach or park walks where appropriate, and shorter, gentler walks for senior dogs or dogs with lower energy. He is also happy to follow your instructions regarding lead manners, recall, socialisation with other dogs and preferred walking routes.

He is comfortable helping with everyday care such as feeding, refreshing water, cleaning bowls and maintaining a pet’s usual routine. His background in gardening and landscaping also means he is comfortable looking after homes, gardens and outdoor areas with care.

Maëla grew up with dogs, cats, fish and horses, and has been around animals throughout her life. She also worked for more than six years as an au pair and sitter for several families in Paris, where she was trusted to look after children, homes and, often, family pets. She is calm, responsible and attentive, especially with cats and animals that may need time to feel comfortable with a new person.

We can provide loving and practical care during walks, home visits or house sitting. During each visit, we can follow your pet’s feeding routine, refresh water, provide playtime and companionship, clean litter trays or cages, and give plenty of affection. For dogs, we adapt walks to their age, energy level and usual routine. For cats and smaller pets, we take a quiet and patient approach and respect the time they need to feel safe.

We are happy to send regular photo and message updates—ideally after each visit or walk—so you can feel reassured while you are away. If your pet has specific care needs, please let us know in advance. We can carefully follow written feeding, medication and routine instructions where appropriate.

In an emergency, we will contact you immediately and follow the plan agreed with you, including contacting your preferred veterinarian if needed.
