I’ve been around dogs most of my life and genuinely enjoy their company. I currently have a friendly, well-behaved red heeler named Gilbert, who is used to being around other dogs and provides good company for visiting dogs.
I live on a property with a large, secure fenced yard around the house where dogs are kept safe. There is also 2.5 acres of open space available for supervised time, depending on the dog’s temperament and recall. Dogs are never left to roam unsupervised outside the fenced area.
During the day, dogs are checked on regularly and are not left alone for long periods. I keep a close eye on behaviour, especially when introducing new dogs. Initial introductions are done slowly and calmly to make sure both dogs are comfortable. If needed, I can separate dogs to ensure everyone stays safe and relaxed.
My routine is flexible but focused on keeping dogs settled and content. This includes feeding according to your instructions, fresh water at all times, and play or exercise suited to the dog. While walks can be included where possible, the priority is making sure dogs are comfortable and not stressed.
I’m happy to follow specific instructions, including special diets and basic medication if required.
For everyone’s safety, I only accept vaccinated dogs.
