Hi! I'm Bonnie. I was a Primary School PE  teacher in Brisbane and moved to Wagga Wagga because I was offered a really wonderful opportunity to play music every day in the Army Band at Kapooka.  As a current registered teacher in Queensland I have had a QPOL check and as a member of the ADF I have an AGSVA Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance. 

I love all animals and dogs are my favourite. Their enthusiastic greeting after a short trip to the shops, a day at work, or an extended time away from home is just magic!  I became a Pawshaker about 8 years ago when I was without any pets of my own. When I got my doggo Hugo about 4 years ago, I thought it would be fun to continue walking and looking after dogs with him.  We have been walking and looked after dogs of all shapes and sizes. Hugo and I have also been a Delta Therapy Dog Team. We have recently been volunteering at a Brisbane hospital every fortnight and hopefully bringing a little bit of joy to people when they need it the most. Fun fact - Hugo came from a lovely Cavalier KCS breeder in Wagga Wagga!
