About Us

Hi there! We are Karel and Charlotte, a friendly retired couple who absolutely love dogs and really enjoy spending our time caring for them. Over the years, we’ve looked after our children’s and friends’ dogs whenever they’ve gone away, and it’s something we genuinely look forward to every time.

We know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are happy and well cared for — that’s exactly what we aim to provide.

What We Offer

We do daily visits that last at least 40 minutes each, where we’ll feed your dog, refresh their water, play with them, and give them plenty of attention and companionship. If your dog stays inside while you’re out, we’ll take them outside for a play or toilet break, or just give them some cuddles if that’s what they love most.

During our visits we also:

• Clean up any messes in the yard
• Collect mail or bring bins in/out if needed
• Make sure your home is securely locked when we leave

If your dog needs a walk, that can be added for a small extra charge. Sometimes our son (who has dog training experience and the proper certifications) helps out with walks — especially if your dog needs a bit more exercise or structure.

Before the Booking

We prefer to meet you and your dog before the booking starts so we can get to know each other and go over any special instructions. This visit is completely free and helps your dog feel comfortable with us.

We’ll pick up and return your keys at the start and end of the booking.

A Few Things to Note

For everyone’s comfort and safety, we ask that:

• Our visits aren’t designed for pets left alone overnight. Please make sure your pet is okay and safe to stay alone overnight.
• Your dog has access to a shaded/cool area when it’s hot, and a warm spot when it’s cold
• We have safe and easy access to your home
• Food, leads, and any cleaning supplies are easy to find
• You let us know in advance if there are any security cameras (inside or outside)
  

We’re calm, patient, and reliable, and treat every dog as if they were our own. Whether your pup is full of energy or just wants some gentle company, we’ll make sure they’re happy, cared for, and loved while you’re away. 🐾
