Semiretired now with more time to do what I like and pet sitting is just the thing for me, it is like a balm on my soul and I enjoy every bit of it. Love spending time with all fur kids and getting to know them as they are all different, beautiful little souls. Have been pet sitting the last 3 years about once a month for friends and friends of friends, but thought with more free time, I would like to do this more often as it truly makes me feel happy and useful. I had lost my 2 beautiful fur babies Dashi and Joey 3 years ago now. They passed away 4 months apart, both Shiba Inu, Dashi was 16.5 and Joey was nearly 18. I have not got over their loss and I might never do, but pet sitting certainly helps to fill the hole in my heart.
