My name is Lauren, and I love minding pets in their own homes or over at my house.

I’m in the Maroondah area; however, for longer stays, I can travel around Melbourne.

My experience originally came from being asked multiple times to pet/house sit for friends and family, as well as having my own pets for 16 years.

I’ve now been pet minding for 7 years with an enriching variety of clients that I cherish.

I’ve worked with dogs, cats, chickens, and fish with a variety of personalities, routines, ages, medical needs, and home arrangements.

I value the benefits of minding pets while keeping to their routines and familiar environments.

I understand that each animal has a different comfort level regarding how long they can be left home alone and while pet minding your animal my time is committed to being with them.

My focus is on the responsibility, safety, trust, and wellbeing of each individual pet and their guardians.

Minding your loved one is about meeting your needs and tailoring a schedule to suit, while also adapting to each pet’s behavioural needs and understanding their different personalities and temperaments.

Walks are included in my price, as well as giving medication and helping with light house duties, such as bins, mail, washing blankets, and keeping the house clean for your return.

While you are away, I will send photos, videos, and any form of communication that suits you — including as many updates or video calls as you would like.

Australian Red Cross Pet First Aid certification and a current Police Check are available.
