About us

Hi there!

We’re Toni (24) and Maurice (25) from Germany, and we are currently on our Work & Travel adventure in Australia. This year, we both completed our Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration & Management and Business Informatics and decided to take some time to explore new places, cultures, and experiences.

We’ve been together for almost seven years and have already travelled to many places as a couple. Visiting Australia has always been a dream of ours! After our original plans in 2020 had to be postponed due to COVID, we’re incredibly happy to finally be here and experiencing Australia firsthand.

Our experience with animals

Animals have always been an important part of our lives.

Maurice grew up with dogs – his family currently has a Labrador mix, whom he often helps to care for. Toni has also gained plenty of experience with dogs and cats: besides her family’s pets, she spent several months working in a cat café, where she learned to understand and care for animals with different personalities and needs.

We’re very comfortable with dog walking, active play sessions, feeding routines, administering basic medication, and providing companionship, whether it’s for a short visit, a long walk, or extended care.

In addition, we have already completed two house sits in Sydney: one caring for a dog and another three-week house sit looking after a cat. These experiences have given us valuable insight into caring for pets in their own familiar environment.

Although we don’t currently have pets of our own, we are both very caring, reliable, and attentive with animals. We understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and loved – especially when their owners are away.

We’ve been living a vegan lifestyle for over five years, placing great importance on respect for animals and the environment and striving to live consciously and responsibly.
