I’ve grown up around dogs and other pets my entire life, and I’ve always loved the companionship, personality and completely unique way that animals experience the world. While I don’t currently have a pet of my own, I’ve regularly pet-sat for friends and have experience caring for both large and small dogs.

I believe a good dog walk is about more than simply getting some exercise. I understand the importance of paying attention to body language, allowing dogs to explore at their own pace, and providing the mental enrichment they need alongside physical exercise. Whether your dog wants to spend the walk sniffing every tree, exploring somewhere new or simply enjoying some company, I’m happy to let them have a walk that suits their personality.

Safety is a big priority for me. Before each walk, I’ll make sure your dog is securely attached to their lead and comfortable with their collar or harness. I’ll pay close attention to their behaviour and surroundings, avoid situations that could make them uncomfortable or unsafe, and take extra care around roads, other dogs and unfamiliar environments. I also carry my phone with me and will have your contact and emergency details available should anything unexpected happen. If your dog becomes unwell, injured or distressed during a walk, I’ll prioritise getting them somewhere safe and contacting you immediately.

I offer walks from 30 to 90 minutes and am happy to walk dogs of any breed, size or temperament. I live near Hedges Avenue, giving us access to some fantastic walking areas, including the beach for dogs who enjoy it. I also have my own car and am happy to travel within reason.

Most importantly, I want your dog to come home happy, tired and having genuinely enjoyed their time out.
