Hello! In early 2026, I’ll be returning to Perth for three months and during this time I will be working part-time, online. I’d love to find a match with homeowners looking for peace of mind while they are away with me as a reliable and mature sitter who can offer attention, routine, and calm for pets, as well as care for the house and garden.  

A little about me: I’m Kate, a 38-year-old originally from country WA with a big love for animals and a friendly, caring nature. I grew up on a farm in the Wheatbelt surrounded by pets and farm animals. After 10 years living in Perth with cats as house pets, I now live in the Netherlands where I am an active sitter for dogs and cats.

My experience: is with dogs and cats most commonly, as well as the occasional pet bird or bunch of chickens. My shortest stays have been a weekend, and my longest 2 months. Owners often ask me back to sit again. All stays have in common that the pets feel at ease and happy with me. Even timid cats warm to me as I know to give them space and respect their terms. While old dogs seem to find their playful selves again with the attention and energy I give them. Active through Pawshake in the Netherlands where I live, I am joining Pawshake Australia for my upcoming trip back home to Perth.
