Hi! I’m Claire, a teacher and lifelong animal lover. I grew up on a farm in the west of Ireland surrounded by animals, so caring for them has always been a very natural part of my life.
I have my own five-year-old medium-sized dog, Bailey, who is a very loved member of the family. I’ve also looked after dogs for friends on many occasions, including feeding, walking, spending time with them and making sure they’re happy and comfortable while their owners are away.
Although I’m new to offering pet sitting professionally, I’m actually very familiar with this service from the other side. I’ve used it many times myself to find people to care for my own dog. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust and how reassuring it is to know your dog is being genuinely cared for while you’re away.
I’m a teacher, so I’m particularly available during the school holidays when I have much more flexibility to spend time with the dogs in my care. I absolutely love dogs and I’m very happy to follow their normal routine, whether that means walks, feeding, playtime, company or plenty of cuddles.
I’m also happy to care for other animals. Unfortunately, I’m allergic to cat hair, so I’m unable to accept bookings involving cats.
