Hi, my name is Elvina! 🐾

I am an international student studying at RMIT University and currently living in Melbourne CBD. I have always loved animals and would be very happy to spend my free time caring for them. I have pets back home in Malaysia, so becoming a pet sitter is also a lovely way for me to stay connected with animals while I am away from home.

I used to have four dogs, and although one of them has sadly passed away, my other dogs are still very special to me. I also grew up with two rabbits when I was younger. Because of this, I have always had a soft spot for dogs, cats, rabbits, and other furry friends. I usually help take care of my pets by bathing them, brushing them, and keeping them clean and comfortable.

I am available for dog walking, home visits, and two home visits in a day. On Mondays, I have classes from 8:30am to 10:30am and 5:30pm to 7:30pm for this semester. So, I may need some time to travel between places. I usually use Monday to revise, so I would prefer 1-hour visits on Mondays. From Tuesday after 3pm, I am completely free and can be more flexible.

For home visits, I can stay for up to 3 hours. I can feed your pets and refill their water, play with them and give them some company. I am happy to clean up after them too. If they have a usual routine, I can follow it as well. Most importantly, I want them to feel comfortable and cared for while you are away. For dog walking, I can usually walk for an hour or more. I am happy to walk around your neighbourhood or my nearby parks.

I would love to give your pets some company, attention, playtime, and lots of care while you are away. I know how important our pets are to us, so I will always treat them with patience and kindness.

One small thing I would like to mention is that I feel more comfortable caring for dogs and cats with a gentle and approachable personality. I can feel a little nervous around pets that may become fierce or defensive when someone tries to approach or interact with them, as I had a close experience where I was nearly bitten by a dog before. I hope you understand this small limitation. I am always happy to learn about your pet’s personality and needs before accepting a booking, so I can make sure I am the right sitter for them.
