Hello! I’m Ana, I’m from Spain and I came to Melbourne on a Work & Holiday visa for a year.

I’m a primary teacher, and caring for others is something I really value. I’m reliable, responsible and enthusiastic, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals.

Three years ago, I took care of Fausto, my host family’s dog, who stole a little piece of my heart. That experience made me realise how much I enjoy caring for pets. I also understand the responsibility that comes with having a pet, and I’m sure I’d love to have one of my own in the future.

I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, keeping your pet company and following their usual routine. For dogs, I’m comfortable with walks of around 30–60 minutes, depending on their age, energy level and usual routine. I’m also happy to adapt the routine to what your pet is used to rather than changing their habits unnecessarily.

I’m flexible with my availability and happy to discuss what works best for you and your pet. I understand that every animal is different, so I always like to know their personality, routines, needs and any things I should be aware of before looking after them.

When house sitting, I’m respectful of your home and will keep everything clean and tidy. I take supervision seriously and won’t leave a pet alone for longer than we have agreed beforehand. If your pet needs regular company or supervision, I’m happy to discuss this in advance and make sure the arrangement is realistic for both of us.

Your pet’s safety is my priority. Before a stay, I’d make sure I have your contact details, your preferred vet or emergency contact, feeding instructions and any relevant information about medications or specific needs. If an emergency happened, I would contact you immediately, follow your instructions where possible and seek veterinary help if necessary rather than taking unnecessary risks.

I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. You can rely on me to be attentive, punctual and committed to giving your pet the care and attention they are used to.
