I’ve always loved being around animals, especially cats, and I’ve had cats of my own for many years. I know they all have completely different personalities — some want cuddles and attention straight away, while others need a little more time and space before they feel comfortable. I’m very happy to let them come to me at their own pace.

I also have experience caring for both dogs and cats for friends. My friend’s dog and cat once stayed with me for a whole month, so I was responsible for their complete daily routine, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, cleaning and lots of company and affection. It gave me experience caring for pets away from their usual home and helping them settle into a new environment.

For dogs, I can provide regular walks of around 30-60 minutes, depending on their age, energy level and normal routine. I’m happy to follow the owner’s usual walking and feeding schedule as closely as possible. For cats, I can take care of feeding, fresh water, litter trays, playtime, brushing and, of course, cuddles if they want them!

If your pet stays with me, I want them to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I keep the home environment calm and make sure doors and windows are secure. I’m also careful about following any instructions you give me regarding food, routines, behaviour or things your pet should avoid. I wouldn’t leave a pet alone for long periods, and we can discuss their normal routine beforehand so I can make sure the arrangement suits them.

I understand how worrying it can be to leave your pet with somebody new, so I’m very happy to send photos and videos while you’re away. I’ll always treat your pet with the same patience, kindness and care that I give my own cats.
