About Me 🐾

Hi! I’m Cian, a 25-year-old lifelong animal lover, with a particular soft spot for dogs. I recently moved to Sydney from Ireland and I’m excited to meet some new four-legged friends!

I’ve grown up around pets my entire life, and back home in Ireland I have a Golden Retriever called Hank — better known as Hank the Tank! 🐶 Being away from him has definitely made me realise how much I miss having a dog around.

One of my main reasons for joining Pawshake is that unfortunately my apartment building doesn’t allow pets, so dog walking is the perfect way for me to get my dog fix while giving your dog some exercise, attention and companionship.

I’m a very active person and love keeping fit. I exercise daily, regularly go to the gym, and I’m also a marathon runner. I particularly enjoy walks of anywhere from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on the dog and what they’re comfortable with.

I understand that every dog is different, and I believe in adapting my approach to suit their individual personality, energy levels and needs. I’ve taken the time to research different breeds and their typical temperaments, but I also understand that every dog is unique and will take the time to get to know yours.

I have no preference when it comes to breed or size — whether you have a tiny pup or a big dog with a personality to match, I’d be delighted to meet them!

For home visits and overnight stays, you can expect a calm, attentive and respectful service. I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of care, attention and companionship, while treating your home with the same respect I would my own. When you return, you can expect to find your home exactly as you left it.

Most importantly, I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for while they’re with me. 🐾
