We offer a calm, gentle and caring home for your pets to visit, giving lots of care and attention while you are away. We welcome only one dog at a time, or two from the same family, to ensure a safe and comfortable visit. For other pets, we welcome up to 2 guinea pigs or other rodents to stay in our pet-safe enclosure, or to bring your own. All birds must have their own enclosure, and will be kept inside or outside depending on preference and weather.

We have a fully fenced backyard and a clean and tidy home where your dog can enjoy their holiday retreat or daycare visit. They are welcome inside, on the deck or can enjoy the freedom of running and playing in the yard. 

If it is your pup that is visiting they will have a lovely sociable visit sharing time with our own dogs, Pippa is a Cavoodle and Benji is a Cairnoodle. Pippa is lovely and gentle being a little older and Benji, almost 4, still has some puppy energy. Both are very well behaved love cuddles, playing in the garden and sitting on the deck. You will be able to meet them at our meet and greet to ensure you feel comfortable with your own pet coming to stay. Our dogs are completely safe around small animals and birds, considering we have a friendly cockatiel named Charlie and 2 Guinea pigs.

Your pets well-being will be a priority, and they will be nutured in a safe and loving home while you are away.

For overnight stays sleeping arrangements are able to be discussed. For this reason only fully trained dogs are able to stay. They must know the call to go outdoors and be able to do this 100% of the time. We will make an exception the first time but if there are recurring incidents you will be asked to find a new sitter for the future. Only pets from the same family will be welcome at a time, so all guests are safe and receive the attention and care they need.

We live in a quiet neighbourhood so your dog will generally need to be a quiet dog who listens. We understand that minimal barking to alert is appropriate behaviour but your dog must be able to stop when asked otherwise we will not be able to have them stay again.  

There will always be someone home if we are sitting over the weekends unless there is a very rare emergency, or unexpected short errand. For longer stays please be aware that during the school term there isn't anyone home on a Tuesday or Wednesday during school hours, however there is a live camera and I am working only a few streets away and able to return if necessary. 

Any visitors will be walked and played with everyday, or as discussed. Baths are available on request, and for longer stays. We live near many walkways and large grassy areas where your dogs will be able to play. This includes a park at the end of the street, Tillack Park, Minnippi Parklands, Whites Hill Reserve, and many walkways your dogs will enjoy. We generally walk an hour a day, but this can be accomatated to your dogs age and needs.

All dog food is required to be bought, as well as dry small animal food hay, and birdseed, but fresh vegetables and fruit will be given, along with dental treats and eggs if wanted.

Birds will be given showers if they enjoy, and will enjoy time outside the cage if wings are freshly clipped and wanted. Birds will be in fully enclosed areas if taken out, with dogs outside so our full attention is on keeping your pets safe. Guinea pigs and other small animals will have hug time daily, and given treats occasionally such as pea flakes. 

Boarding:

We will only take one pet at a time or two from the same family to ensure your pets visit is full of love and attention. Any special requests will be considered - we are flexible and happy to accomodate if possible. If booking for a long stay please ensure that your pup is groomed and bathed prior to arrival, and for any long term stays we are happy to discuss grooming and bathing options. 

Daycare:

At this stage daycare is only available Saturdays. Your pup will be walked, and have company all day, and lots of love and attention will be given in a safe and friendly home.

Pups are required to be fully vaccinated, up to date with flea and worm treatment, socialised, toilet trained and desexed.

Small dogs up to approx 12kg's are suitable, as well as gentle slightly larger dogs such as labradoodles and groodles, however we are unable to accomodate staffy, fox terrior and jack russell breeds. All small animals are welcome, and birds so long as accomodation is provided.
