Hi there! I’m McKenzie, a massive animal lover and happiest when I’m around furry friends. I currently have a cat who is my absolute world 🐾

I’m super active, so I genuinely enjoy long walks, runs, beach trips, and park adventures, perfect if your fur baby loves getting out and about! I also love switching up walking spots to keep things fun, enriching, and mentally stimulating for dogs.

When caring for pets, I like to stick to a consistent daily routine based on what they’re used to. This includes regular feeding times, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I have quite a flexible work schedule, which allows me to be home more often than not, mostly starting late mornings through to early evenings. I will also try to involve your pet in all other weekly activities, such as visiting my grandma or grabbing a coffee with a friend.

While I don’t have formal pet sitting qualifications, I’ve done plenty for friends and family over the years, from daily walks to overnight stays. I’m confident handling pets with different personalities and energy levels, whether that’s high-energy dogs who need lots of activity or more relaxed pets who prefer a slower pace and extra cuddles.

I’m very patient with nervous or shy pets and always let them warm up to me at their own pace. I focus on creating a calm, safe environment and use gentle, positive reinforcement to build trust. This has showed many times when I have taken in strays or lost puppies. I’m also happy to follow any training routines or commands you already have in place to keep things consistent.

In terms of safety, I take it seriously and your pet’s wellbeing is my top priority. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I’ll contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if needed. I always make sure I have your vet details, emergency contacts, and clear instructions before care begins so I can act quickly and confidently if anything arises.

I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own... safe, loved, and well looked after. I truly believe our pets are family, and I’ll care for them to the best of my ability. If I’m caring for pets in my home, I do ask that they’re fully vaccinated to keep everyone happy and healthy 🐶🐱
