I'm 38 years old and you wouldn't believe it but I love dogs!!

I have two Red Heelers, Barney & Bonnie who are a huge part of my life. Having no kids of my own, these two are my kids. We saved Barney who was tied up to a tree and have had Bon Bon since she was a pup. Raising Bon from a young age gave me the opportunity to teach her loose-lead walking, as well as basic manners such as waiting patiently before meals and treats. Barney's past meant he needed a little extra patience, but through consistency and positive guidance, we also helped him learn good manners and build his confidence

Caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life, I bring a lifetime of hands-on care and genuine love for dogs. Over the years I've cared for and rescued several dogs through different stages and chapters of my life. Also growing up with and being around family dogs has helped me understand the responsibility, patience, and consistency that dogs need to be able to feel loved and respected. I treat every dog as if they were my own. I am reliable, attentive, and truly passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for every dog in my care. 

MY SERVICES

Before any booking, I'd love to arrange a meet and greet with you and your dog. This gives us the opportunity to get to know one another, discuss your dog's routine, personality, likes and dislikes, any medical or behavioural needs, and answer any questions you may have. It also gives your dog the chance to become familiar with me, helping them feel comfortable and relaxed before our first visit or walk.

Home Visits 🏠

If doggy daycare is a little overhwelming for your dog, house visits may just be the next best thing.  

During each visit, I'll spend quality one-on-one time with your dog, tailored to their individual needs. 

I'm also happy to help with those little jobs around the house to give you extra peace of mind, if there's something specific you'd like done, just let me know and I'll do my best to help.

Each visit lasts 30-45 mins, but if there is any extra tasks that need to get done I am happy to stay that bit longer to complete them.

Agility Training & Enrichment Time: I also offer optional services during home visits, these include a bit of fun agility training and enrichment time for your dog. I find that even though physical exercise is great to keep our furbabies fit and healthy, mental exercise is also as equally important. Agility training is great for co ordination skills, obedience support and creates a sense of confidence in your dog, as they know they have the capabilities to do something which may be very well out of their comfort zone. This option will only be available if you choose the 2 x Home Visits and comment agility/enrichment. The first visit will be the general care and duties and the second visit will be the agility training/enrichment time.

Dog Walking🐾

Whether your dog enjoys a leisurely sniff around the neighbourhood, a brisk exercise walk, or a combination of both I'll tailor each outing to suit them.

Each walk will be roughly 30mins.

After each walk, I'll make sure your dog has fresh water, settles comfortably back at home, and I'll send you an update with photos so you can see how much fun they've had.

I do have experience administering medication to my own dogs. While I'm happy to assist where appropriate, I am not a qualified veterinary professional and cannot administer medications that require professional training.

I will be attaining my first aid training for dogs at the end of August. 

I am comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. Every dog is unique, so I'll take the time to work closely with you to understand your dog's individual personality, routine, and needs. My goal is to provide the best possible positive experience for your dog while they're in my care, so you can enjoy complete peace of mind knowing they're safe, happy, and well looked after receiving the same love, patience, and attention that I'd give my own.

I have also chosen to donate 1% of all booking fee to GAWS.
