Hi, I’m Denika. I offer reliable, professional and personalised pet and house sitting for owners who want the reassurance of knowing their pets and home are being genuinely well cared for while they are away.

Animals have always been an important part of my life, and I currently have my own rescue dog, Bobbi, who came to me at just 12 weeks old 7 years ago. Caring for her has reinforced how important routine, patience, consistency and trust are for animals, particularly when they are away from their usual people. When I am house sitting, Bobbi stays with my mum, so I do not bring my own pet into clients’ homes.

Professionally, I work as a Special Needs Education Assistant and also have experience in support work. Both roles require a high level of responsibility, discretion, communication and respect when working in other people’s environments. I bring that same standard of care to every pet and home I look after. I am dependable, organised, First Aid trained and comfortable following detailed routines and instructions.

House Sitting

My house-sitting service includes overnight care in your home, feeding and fresh water, companionship, maintaining your pet’s usual routine, basic home security checks, bringing in mail, putting bins out when required and keeping your home tidy during my stay. I also provide regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing everything is going well.

Home Visits

Home visits are suitable for pets who are comfortable remaining at home without overnight care. Visits can include feeding, refreshing water, toilet breaks, litter maintenance, companionship, medication where appropriate, and checking that your home is secure.

Dog Walking

Dog walks are tailored to your dog’s normal routine, age, fitness level and temperament. I am happy to follow your preferred walking route and any handling instructions you normally use.

I am comfortable caring for dogs, cats and most common household pets. I am particularly happy to care for older pets, rescue animals and pets who benefit from a calm, consistent routine. Any medication, behavioural needs or additional care requirements can be discussed before booking to ensure I am the right fit.

Where possible, I prefer to arrange a meet-and-greet before the first booking. This allows me to meet your pets, learn their routine and make sure both you and your pets feel comfortable before you leave.

My availability varies around my family commitments, however I regularly have periods of excellent flexibility and availability for overnight stays, weekends and longer bookings.

My goal is simple: to provide a professional, trustworthy service that allows your pets to remain comfortable in their own environment while giving you genuine peace of mind while you are away.
