I have grown up with dogs and cats since I was two years old and have always been surrounded by animals.

My family has two dogs and five cats, all of whom were originally rescued—either from shelters, animal welfare organizations, or directly from the streets. Before moving to Sydney, I lived with them and helped my parents care for them every day.

I truly love both dogs and cats and am very familiar with how to care for them and interact with them appropriately. 

I also have experience volunteering with animal rescue organizations, where I cared for dogs and cats with different personalities and needs. I am attentive and able to adapt my approach to suit each individual animal.

I understand that cats often prefer not to be overstimulated, and I am able to care for them while respecting their boundaries.

I also understand that dogs can have different personality tendencies depending on their size and breed, while also having their own unique personalities. I am able to adjust my pace and approach to suit each dog’s individual temperament and needs. In addition, I carefully consider the appropriate level of exercise and activities for dogs of different ages—from energetic puppies to senior dogs—and provide care that matches their physical and emotional needs.

For dog walks, I am flexible with the length of time, whether it is a short walk of several minutes or a longer walk of up to two hours. I am also happy to take dogs to a dog park and run and play with them together.

When caring for cats, I never force interaction or approach them in a way that makes them uncomfortable. However, if they choose to come to me, I interact with them gently while respecting their personality and comfort level. I am also comfortable with litter box cleaning and brushing.

I also have experience medication to pets, including giving tablets orally and using a syringe for liquid medication. Of course, I always prioritize the animal’s safety and emotional condition when doing so.

No matter the pet, I always begin by asking the owner about their pet’s personality, usual behavior, and anything specific I should pay attention to, because I believe owners understand their pets better than anyone else.

In addition, I have strong communication skills and enjoy interacting with people, which helps me build trust with pet owners.
