I'm a dad, working part time and mostly from home, which means I've got a flexible schedule to work around. Being self-employed helps with that too.

I'm partway through a pet handling course at the moment. We lost our old greyhound last year, and honestly I just miss having a dog around — I'd love the chance to spend that time with yours instead.

I never rush a walk — dogs deserve the time to properly explore and sniff everything along the way, so I like to mix up the route whenever I can so it stays interesting for them. Playtime and cuddles matter too, if that's their thing. You'll get photos and a quick update from me after every visit.

My son is four and a half, and having grown up around dogs, he's calm and gentle with them. That said, he won't be joining me on walks or sits — those are just for me and your dog. One thing to flag: if your dog isn't comfortable around kids, my home probably won't be the right fit for day care or hosting.
