I offer trustworthy, loving and personalised care for your animals. I tailor each and every job to what you and your pet are most comfortable with, to ensure the smoothest transition and give you peace of mind to be able to truly enjoy yourself and know your animal is in capable hands. I'm a camera fiend when it comes to animals, so you can expect to receive multiple photos during my visits (check out previous client photos above!)
What you can expect:
Home Visits - These can range from me popping in to feed your animals, or taking up to an hour to play and cuddle your pets.I love to discuss what you and your pets normally do prior to you booking, so you can ensure I am spending my time doing exactly what makes your pets happy. This option is perfect for cats, smaller animals, elderly dogs and puppies. **Please note the 2 home visits per day option can be rolled into a 2 hour visit if and when required**
Doggy Day Care - This option can be booked for your dog to come to me or for me to come to yours. Again, I will work with you on what hours you would like me to stay at your house, a walk is included if required. This is a great option for new family members that are still getting used to you being away at work during the day or new puppies who need feeding! This can be an evening visit too! Select this option if you need me for longer than 3 hours.
Dog Walks - I tailor every walk to every dog. Does he have a favourite park? Is she safe and happy being off lead with other dogs? Whether you need me to take your dog for a quite stroll around the streets, or a full hour running around at the beach, I listen to what your preferences are and go from there. An average walk duration is between half an hour to an hour, depending on the needs of your dog.
I'm in my thirties, originally from Hobart, Tasmania. I've grown up with animals my whole life, I don't know a life without animals in it. Horses, sheep, cows, ducks, chickens, sheep, dogs, cats, birds - you name it!
I adore animals, they are my happy place and I have that natural tendency to draw animals to me. I treat your animals like they are my own, every animal deserves love and I make sure every single one feels special and appreciated.
I am very passionate about animal welfare, animal rights and in particular the plight of greyhounds. I understand the unique needs and quirks of rescue animals. I was a volunteer dog walker growing up so have a lot of experience in this area (plus all of my companion animals I have rescued).
I have relocated back home to Tassie after being in Melbourne for almost 7 years, which is where I started my Pawshake journey. Since moving back I have given birth to my first baby (he’s currently ten months old) so I currently spend my days walking my greyhound with bubba in the front pack.
**As I have a little human attached to me at all times, I am only able to take baby friendly bookings. Bub will most likely spend most of the time in the front pack to keep your animals safe (haha yes, baby is obsessed with animals as he should be, but is a little young to learn they need their personal space - we’re working on it with the help of our anxious prone grey!). **
**Reviews are absolutey welcomed and appreciated, please let me know if you are happy with my services or if there is anything I can improve on!**
Kerryn is reliable, kind, fun and responsible which makes us feel completely at ease trusting our furbaby with her. It's clear how much Kerryn loves animals and our puppy clearly loved her just as much in the regular photo updates she provides. We also felt even more at ease knowing Kerryn's past experience in vet nursing and with wide range of animals.
Keryn is a lovely bubbly young woman. Our "kids" love her.
We are sad she can no longer house sit over night.
She is trustworthy and your pets are her priority.
