Hi, I'm Hannah 😊 To say that I'm an animal lover would be an understatement. I adore animals of every kind, and it brings me so much joy to pamper them and make sure they're well cared for. I'm the first person my friends & family ask when they need someone to look after their pets because they know they can rely on me to care for them as if they're my own. I always look forward to petsitting; every pet is so different, and it's such a joy to get to know their personalities and bond with them. A little about me: I'm 34 and studying to be a librarian. I like to curl up on the couch and study or read, and I try to provide a friendly, calming presence to the animals I look after. My university work is remote, which gives me lots of freedom to be home and present with the pets I'm caring for. I work with animals of all sizes, ages, and care needs: from the smallest kittens to the largest dogs (and even the occasional rooster!) I love learning about your pet's day-to-day, their likes and dislikes, and personality quirks. I make sure that all food I give to pets is provided by or pre-approved by you to ensure their diet stays consistent and in line with your preferences. I regularly look after elderly pets and pets with health conditions that need careful monitoring and attention. I follow medication plans and schedules exactly to ensure consistency of care. Your pet's safety and well-being are always my number one priority. I like to keep up to date with the latest research and recommendations for pet care so that I can provide the best care possible to the animals I look after. I regularly undertake professional development, and have attained certificates (that I can provide upon request) in responsible cat and dog ownership, enrichment and training, and lost dog prevention. Routine is so important for animals, so I keep things as close to their regular routine as possible. All my services are provided at your home so that your pet can stay in a familiar environment. It's a big deal to leave your beloved pet with someone new, so I like to do a meet-and-greet so that you and your pets can get to know me, and you can ask me as many questions as possible to help you make a decision you feel comfortable with. I also provide regular updates and photos during my visits to keep you up-to-date. I look forward to giving you peace of mind that your pet is happy and safe while you’re away! (Please note: due to a recent injury, I am unable to offer dog walking services at this time. I use a combination of enrichment and active play like fetch and tug-of-war to ensure I meet your dog's daily mental and physical activity needs)
