Susan and I are an active, retired couple who would love to care for your dog in our relaxed, family home.

We offer a calm, safe and loving environment particularly suited for those slightly nervous or older dogs who enjoy gentle care, cosy naps and plenty of love and company. Because one of us is at home pretty well all the time, your dog won't be left alone and will enjoy plenty of attention, companionship and supervision throughout the day — great for dogs who like others around at all times or need a little extra care.

Although we’re new to Pawshake, dogs have always been part of our lives and we bring many years of direct hands-on experience with different breeds, personalities and specific canine needs. Our own two friendly companions are:

• Raffi – our very playful 4-year-old Cavoodle

• Joni – our gentle 9-year-old rescue Bichon Frise

They’re both very social with other dogs and used to sharing their space, making them lovely company for visiting dogs.

We’re based in Croydon and also spend lots of time at our place on Phillip Island. For longer stays, dogs can enjoy relaxed beach walks and many new adventures (car-friendly pups only).

Both of our homes have securely fenced yards and dog doors.

As part of our normal care we offer daily walks, flexible sleeping arrangements and above all we try to ensure your dog's routines are kept as familiar to them as possible. We can also take care of any medication that may be required and all special needs are happily accommodated. Most importantly, your dog is treated like one of our own — with patience, affection and lots of cuddles.

Of course we also send regular photo updates, so you can relax knowing your pet is safe, settled and happy. We'd love to welcome your dog into our home and care for them as if they were one of our own - looking forward to hearing from you! 🐾
