Hey there! I’m Corinne, a 25-year-old animal enthusiast who moved from Salt Lake City to Melbourne six years ago. My love for animals has always been a significant part of my life, and being surrounded by pets brings me immense joy and fulfillment. 

My motivation to work with pets stems from my lifelong love for animals and the joy they bring into our lives. They are more than just animals; they are family, and providing them with the best care possible is something I am deeply committed to. Moving to Australia has been an exciting adventure, but having the company of pets makes it feel like home. I thrive on the bond I create with each pet, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and happy while their families are away.

My professional background includes roles at at Petstock HQ, where I gained extensive knowledge about a wide variety of pet products, from nutrition and grooming supplies to toys and accessories. This experience allowed me to stay up-to-date with the latest pet care trends and innovations, further enhancing my ability to provide top-notch care for your furry and scaly friends.

At Cottage Kennels and Cattery in Melbourne, I provided comprehensive care, including grooming, feeding, medication administering, enrichment, photographing, and behavior monitoring. This prepared me to think on my feet, learn about hundreds of breeds, as well as first aid and understanding emergency care for all pets.

My volunteer work from the ages of 14-18 at Red Bandana Dog Grooming and Kennel began my passion for animal care, grooming, feeding, and offering companionship to our furry family members.

These experiences have equipped me with the knowledge and expertise to cater to various pet needs, from playful puppies to senior cats. Additionally, I have four years of experience training my own Husky, who has a fantastic temperament and loves making new friends. He is great with puppies, elderly dogs, and tends to match the energy of the dog around him. I have also owned, raised, and cared for Snakes, Birds, and many Kitties. 

Vaccination Policy:

For the safety and well-being of all pets in my care, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. This ensures a healthy environment for everyone and the safety of my own doggo!

I’m a bubbly, kind-hearted person who believes in creating a warm and loving environment for all pets. I take great joy in ensuring every pet feels special and well-cared for, providing them with plenty of love, attention, and playtime. I also have a wonderful Husky, Moose, who loves making new friends if you' like a playdate. When I'm not pet-sitting, you can find me watching my favorite movies or exploring Melbourne's beautiful parks with Moose and my partner, or photographing wildlife. I look forward to meeting you and your furry or scaly friends and making their time away from you as stress-free and enjoyable as possible!

Pet Preferences: 

At the moment I am unable to offer overnight stays at my own home, I am more than happy to look after any other pets in their own homes to ensure they remain comfortable and stress-free in their familiar environment.

With several parks nearby and my enthusiasm for providing enriching experiences, your pup or scaly buddy will love their stay! Dogs who I stay with will enjoy plenty of walks and playtime at local parks if suitable. For those who might need a gentler pace, I can provide lots of enrichment activities and fun at home. I’m dedicated to making every pet feel comfortable, loved, and excited to be here, catering to any special needs they may have.
