Hi there! My name is Dyan (like Dianne but spelled weird). I'm an introverted 29-year based here in Melbourne, currently taking a break between studies before I go back and complete the big bad PhD! A life-long and experienced crazy cat lady, I like to think I know just about all there is to know about cats! I have experience working at a cattery, handling both timid/scaredy and aggressive cats, and can medicate cats as well (whether orally, with transdermal medications, or with injections such as for diabetic cats). I also have experience fostering feral and stray cats: rehabilitating them with the aim of rehoming.

I have been a voracious reader of cat history, behaviour, and genetics since I was a child, and have an extensive knowledge of all the different breeds and their purrsonalities, as well as how to look after cats properly and keep them happy and healthy.

I have a particular fondness for old cats, and for vocal cats, who you can have conversations with 😂. I'm happy to look after single or multi-cat households; same rate applies. I'm also happy to look after small animals like birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, ferrets etc! I would also be happy to look after reptiles as well if needed.

My apologies but I am not taking dog clients at this time.

As a house-sitter, I am able to stay overnight to give round-the-clock care to your pet(s), as well as provide that added security of looking after your home, too. I'm an A-type personality who's obsessed with keeping my surroundings neat and tidy, so you can be sure your home will be kept clean at all times! 

I'm also a big plant enthusiast (particularly orchids), so am happy to water and look after all your indoor and outdoor plants, as well.
