Hi, I'm Taylor! I'm an active, caring and experienced dog lover based in North Melbourne, with a genuine passion for providing dogs with a happy, comfortable and safe environment.

My love for dogs started when I got my first dog at 16. Since then, I've had two much-loved dogs through my long-term relationships, worked as a dog walker and spent many years around dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages and personalities.

I understand that every dog is different. Some thrive on activity, adventures and stimulation, while others prefer a slower pace, familiar routines and a little extra reassurance. I'm naturally calm, patient and attentive, and I believe great dog care starts with understanding each dog's individual personality and needs.

My Home & Approach to Dog Care

I live in a modern, comfortable one-bedroom apartment in North Melbourne, with an outdoor terrace and easy access to local walking areas and parks.

While I don't have a fully fenced backyard, all outdoor exercise, toilet breaks and adventures are carefully supervised. Dogs will never be left to roam freely in unsecured outdoor spaces.

My preference is to care for one dog at a time, allowing me to provide dedicated attention and maintain a calm, relaxed environment. I believe this is particularly important when dogs are adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings and routines.

For overnight boarding, I ask that owners provide their dog's own bed. Having something familiar from home helps create a sense of comfort, security and consistency. Your dog will sleep indoors in a safe, comfortable environment.

Daily Routine & Activities

I'm naturally active and enjoy getting outdoors, so walks, fresh air and exercise are an important part of my day.

Each dog's routine is tailored to their age, energy levels, temperament and individual requirements.

A typical day might include:

• Morning walks and toilet breaks
• Feeding according to their usual schedule
• Playtime, enrichment and companionship
• Afternoon walks or outdoor adventures
• Plenty of downtime, affection and rest ( I get just as much joy out of this)
• Evening feeding, toilet breaks and settling into their familiar sleeping routine

I'm equally happy caring for energetic dogs who love exploring as I am providing a quieter, more relaxed experience for dogs who prefer a slower pace.

Availability & Supervision

When I'm dog sitting, I'm home and available to provide dedicated care and companionship throughout their stay. I carefully consider my availability before accepting bookings, particularly for longer stays, to ensure I can give each dog the time and attention they deserve. My goal is to provide a consistent, reassuring environment where your dog feels comfortable and doesn't experience unnecessary periods alone.

I understand that leaving your dog with someone new is a big decision. They're part of your family, and trusting someone with their care is something I take seriously. I offer a reliable, responsible and genuinely caring approach, with open communication, regular updates and photos throughout their stay.

I'll take the time to understand your dog's personality, habits, routines and any specific needs before their visit, ensuring their experience feels as familiar and enjoyable as possible. For me, dog sitting isn't simply about providing somewhere for your dog to stay. It's about creating a positive experience where they feel safe, understood, exercised, loved and genuinely cared for.
