Hi! ;) I’m a huge animal lover and have basically grown up with little furry family members around me. When I was little, I’ve had a rabbit and guinea pigs. Back home, I have a 9-year-old cat who came into my life after he was abandoned as a kitten. I’ve cared for him ever since, and he’s very much part of the family. I’d also wanted a Whippet for years, and after doing lots of research and thinking through about whether I could give one the right home, I finally got my girl when she was just two months old. She’s a sensitive and slightly timid dog with a delicate stomach, but at the same time she’s full of energy. I often prepare and cook her meals myself, and I’d take her hiking or to the dog park at least once a week, and over time we made lots of lovely doggy friends. Spending time around so many different dogs, I’ve learned how to interact with dogs of different breeds and personalities. I’m generally available in the mornings and afternoons for dog walking and home visits, preferably during afternoons. My schedule is relatively flexible, so I’m happy to discuss specific times to suit you and your pet’s routine. For home visits, I can stay from 30 mins to 2 hrs per visit, depending on your pet’s needs. During this time, I’ll make sure they’re fed, have fresh water, enjoy some playtime, and get plenty of cuddles. I’m also happy to administer oral medication following the owner’s instructions, as well as water plants and bring in the mail if needed. Dog walks typically last 30–45 mins. I’ll choose safe, pet-friendly routes around your neighbourhood, taking your dog’s age, energy level, and preferences into account. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’m always happy to discuss their individual needs to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you’re away! :)
