I am an experienced petsitter having pet-sat full time with my hubby from February 2023 - August 2024. We only stopped because we fell pregnant! Hi I'm Laura! I'm a veterinarian at Kirrawee Vet Hospital in the Sutherland Shire. I am an animal and sport lover, who loves to read and has an active lifestyle. I have grown up with both small and large breed dogs, so am comfortable walking/caring for both. I have been house sitting both dogs and cats on and off for 5+ years. 
Regarding house sitting, it is likely my partner Mitch will also be accompanying me. As of Jan 2025 he will be an Intern at Sutherland Hospital. Together we have considerable experience house sitting. We have cared for both dogs and cats of all different sizes and energy levels. We are both responsible young adults, non-smokers and will treat your home as if it was our own. 
We are happy to walk your pets as much or as little as needed. We also happy to take them on weekend adventures/out with us if they're comfortable with that.

I see caring for pets very similarly to the work I currently do in aged care. Home visits:   I can come over feed the poochie check up on your pup and if left a while can offer some play time and enrichment.

Dog walks: are for 40minutes (including pick up, leashing up, feeding etc) and are quite thorough includes walk and some obedience practicing skills on walks. But also down time to sniff and let out some energy.

Over night stays : I will be with your poochy unless I duck out for takeaway food or to go to the gym. And I'll be right back. 

Dog training: walking nicely on a leash, dog aggression (reactivity), obedience. Puppy training, crate training, separation anxiety. Etc (love my GSD doggos) training is 200$ initial consult and 40$ per session afterwards.
