Hi, I'm Tegan! I'm originally from New Zealand, and my family and I moved to Australia last year. I'm a stay-at-home mum to my first child, who already loves animals just as much as I do. I grew up surrounded by pets, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Along with my lifelong love of animals, I have the New Zealand Certificate in Animal Care (Level 3) and over 8 years of professional experience working in dog daycares, kennels, and catteries, caring for dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities.

As well as my professional experience, I've also looked after the pets of family and friends in their homes over the years. This has given me experience caring for pets in their own familiar environment, following their usual routines, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.

I provide a safe, loving, and reliable service where your pets are treated like part of the family. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I take the time to get to know them and make sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for while you're away.

Services Included

I offer dog walking and home visits from Monday to Friday.

Home visits can include:

Feeding and refreshing water

Toilet breaks

Playtime and enrichment

Lots of love, attention, and cuddles

Basic oral medication (if required)

Brushing (if requested)

Regular photo updates for your peace of mind

Dog walks are tailored to your dog's individual needs and are usually 20–30 minutes, depending on their age, fitness, and energy level. Every walk is focused on making sure your dog has fun, gets plenty of exercise and enrichment, and returns home happy.

My Experience

During my career, I've worked with dogs and cats in busy daycare, kennel, and cattery environments. My experience includes:

Supervising dog playgroups

Feeding and administering medication

Providing enrichment activities

Monitoring behaviour and wellbeing

Caring for puppies through to senior pets

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and animal welfare

Availability

I'm available Monday to Friday and, as a stay-at-home mum, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide reliable and attentive care. On some walks, my 1-year-old daughter may come along with me. She loves animals and is gentle and calm around them. Your pet's safety and wellbeing are always my top priority, and I make sure every walk and visit is unhurried so they receive the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. 

Whether your pet needs a walk while you're at work or someone to pop in for a visit during the day, I'd love to help. I know how important it is to leave your furry family member with someone you trust, and I'll care for them with the same love, patience, and kindness I'd give my own pets.
