Animals have always been a comforting and joyful part of my life, so becoming a pet sitter felt like a natural fit. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to leave your pet behind, and I truly value the trust it takes to place them in someone else’s care. I've cared for cats with a wide range of temperaments and needs, from timid rescues learning to trust again to playful, confident personalities. Fostering taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to create a safe space that helps animals feel settled and secure. I’ve also been a devoted pet parent for the past three years, giving me firsthand understanding of the daily routines, responsibilities, and deep bond that come with caring for animals. I’m competent in following feeding routines, keeping litter and living areas clean, providing enrichment through play, training and exercise, and giving plenty of affection at a pace that suits each pet. My background in healthcare has helped me develop patience, attentiveness, and the ability to notice subtle changes in behaviour, so I can respond calmly and appropriately to their needs. I take time to understand each pet’s routines, quirks, and preferences so they can settle in comfortably and feel at ease.
