Hi I'm Pete. The only reason I do not have my own dog is because I travel quite a bit (well used to). Usually for weeks or month at a time and there's no way I could leave my own puppy behind.

I grew up in rural N.S.W with animals and always seemed to naturally form strong bonds with our many pets. From dogs, horses and yes even cats seem to pick up on my calm friendly energy and are happy to sit on me.

Friends and strangers dogs seem to love me too. I have often been called upon to house sit friends dogs and strangers dogs often want to greet me too. I love meeting new dogs, spending time playing and having cuddles. I would love to have my own puppa but, for now, have decided to get some puppy love through other avenues. Actually I tried to volunteer for the guide dogs but due to the pandemic, volunteers have been ‘pawsd’ so I thought I'd try this...

I'm hoping to form new bonds with some regular dogs/owners. Preferrably near me so I can pick up easily and hit the trails along the creek. I'm a primary school teacher (police, working with children checks regular), so evenings and weekends will be the best time I can take your puppa out for a walk...
