Hi, I’m Laura, an animal lover living in the beautiful Huon Valley with my husband, four children (aged 11, 9, 7 and 5), our friendly dog Rusty, and five chickens. Animals have always been a big part of our lives, and we understand that pets are family.

We have a secure, fully fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to play and explore. Our chickens free-range during the day but can be safely contained in their pen if needed. My children have grown up around animals and are gentle, respectful, and love helping to give pets attention and affection.

I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, from energetic puppies to older dogs who prefer a slower pace. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following special feeding routines, and adapting care to suit each pet’s individual needs. I understand that every animal is different, and I take the time to help them feel safe, settled, and comfortable.

A typical day in my care includes plenty of supervised outdoor time, play, cuddles, rest breaks, fresh water, and lots of attention. I aim to keep your pet’s routine as close as possible to what they’re used to at home, helping reduce stress while you’re away.

I’m happy to care for dogs, cats, birds, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, livestock, and other small animals. Whether your pet needs walks, feeding, companionship, medication, playtime, or simply someone to keep their routine consistent, I’ll provide reliable and caring support.

I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pets, so I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos throughout their stay. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and right at home while you’re away.
