I have been Housesitting with my partner in Melbourne fulltime since July, 2023. We have done housesits or different time durations, sometimes 1 month, sometimes 1 week or even 1 day, and different suburbs all across Melbourne. We mainly took care of dogs: puppys, younger energetic doggies, old quiet dogs, some more reactive, nervous or fearful dogs! Some of them required medicines or a certain way of training, with treats or toys, so we are used to dealing with different personalities of the furry ones! We have had many border collies, a kelpie, labradors and retrievers, but also smaller dogs like a King Chevalier, a Malteese, or a dachshund... But we also took care of two rabbits and many cats so far. As our experience shows, we are used to dealing with different environments and older animals as well as puppies, either in apartments or houses, since our love for animals makes us adapt to the different personalities they might present and to the various needs they require.
