Animals and nature have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, I wanted to become a veterinarian, and although I ultimately followed my other main passion (space!), that love of animals has never left me.

I'm a PhD-qualified space scientist and educator who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Over the years I've cared for a variety of pets in home settings, been involved in animal rescue, undertaken formal bird rescue handling and training, and learned animal first aid. I understand that every animal is an individual, with their own personality, routines, and needs.

My home offers a large, fully secured, fenced backyard with grassed areas and fruit trees, providing plenty of space for supervised play, exploration, and relaxation. I also have a very small, quiet and friendly, fully vaccinated, desexed, and healthy dog of my own.

I am fortunate to live in a very pet-friendly neighbourhood, with caring neighbours who have their own dogs and cats and are understanding of animals. There are multiple parks, wetlands, walking trails, and fenced dog exercise areas nearby, making it easy to provide enrichment, exercise, and outdoor adventures suited to each pet's needs.

I work flexibly, allowing me to spend quality time with the animals in my care and provide regular updates, photos, and communication with owners. Whether your pet loves long walks and playtime or simply wants companionship and a calm environment while you're away, I'll do my best to make them feel at home.

I understand how much trust it takes to leave a beloved family member in someone else's care, and I treat every animal as if they were my own.
