Hello, my name is Anita and I provide care for your family pets in your home for the Gracemere area only.  I'm an experienced former zookeeper and pet caregiver who truly loves animals.  I enjoy caring for all kinds of pets and would be happy to take good care of your furry, feathered or scaled friends like they’re my own.  Home visits begin eith greeting your pets and checjing they are all ok.  I proceed to play, exercise or pats depending on your animals needs.  When your furbabies have had enough personal attention, I then prepare food, fresh water and and any required cleaning.  I ensure they are are relaxed before leaving and send daily photographs with updates for your peace of mind.  I am unable to walk dogs but more than happy to discuss alternative exercise and enrichment ideas with you.  I have been employed in a diverse range of domestic and wildlife industries for over 20 years and experienced in dealing with emergency situations if they should occur.  My focus is always on your pets needs and respecting your directions.  

On the weekends and school holidays, I provide puppy daycare and overnight pet sitting in my own home for small dogs up to 10kg.  My home is set up as a safe space with ramps for miniture dachshunds to ensure they receive all of the love and attention they need.  Everyone has access to inside or outdoor time depending on their individual needs.  My home is their home and all dogs can enjoy relaxing on the couch or soaking up the sunshine outside.  My focus is to ensure your furbabies daily needs are met as directed by you, they are loved and happy.  To ensure your bsbies are relaxed and feel safe, I only accept a maximum of 2 dogs from the same family in care per booking.  Our morning starts with morning cuddles and we all go outside for toilet time.  Depending on  the dogs feeding routine, we might have a play, breakfast, followed by some sun bathing outside.  Our day is led by each dogs individual needs and it is about when they want to play, rest or eat.  I am always home with the dogs to ensure they are relaxed, happy and safe.  Before going to bed we all have a toilet run outside, before snuggling in bed together or crates depending on their usual home routine.  I have a current criminal history check certificate for your peace of mind.
