I’m a big animal lover and a proud dog mum. I currently have Ollie, my 1-year-old Cocker Spaniel x Cavalier, who is a very loving, playful and cheeky little guy. 😂 I’ve also owned quite a few different dogs over the years, including a pedigree Rottweiler, two Fox Terrier x Jack Russells and a purebred Maltese Shih Tzu, so I’ve had experience with different breeds, sizes and personalities.

Honestly, my main motivation is that I just love dogs and animals and I really enjoy having them around. I’m already a dog mum to Ollie, so I know how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to know they’re being looked after properly when we’re not there.

I’d love to be able to help other pet owners out while also getting to spend time with animals. I really enjoy taking Ollie out for walks, getting him out of the house and letting him have a good sniff and explore.

I’m not doing this just because I love dogs — I also genuinely enjoy getting to know their different personalities and quirks. Every dog is different, and I’d love to give them some extra attention, exercise, cuddles and company while their owners are busy or away. ❤️🐾

Dog walking: I offer 30-minute walks and can walk up to 4 dogs at a time. I’ll make sure every dog gets attention, exercise and plenty of sniffing time, while keeping their safety my priority. I’ll also take their individual needs, age, size and energy levels into consideration.

Because of the Queensland heat, I prefer doing walks early in the morning before 10am or after 4:30pm, when it’s cooler and more comfortable for the dogs. We have a leash-free dog park close to home on Arthur Street, which is one of our regular spots, and Keppel Sands is one of my favourite places to take Ollie for a beach trip when we get the chance. 🐶🌊

Pet sitting & house sitting: When I’m house sitting, I’ll make sure doors, gates and outdoor areas are secure. At night, I believe dogs are safest sleeping indoors, so I’ll make sure they’re safely settled inside before bed and let them outside first thing in the morning for a toilet break and some fresh air.

Supervised introduction: As I have Ollie, if your dog will be around him, I prefer to introduce them slowly and properly rather than just putting them together straight away. I’ll supervise their interactions and make sure both dogs are comfortable. If they don’t get along, I’m happy to keep them separated when needed.

Medication: As a dog mum, I have current hands-on experience giving Ollie his monthly worming tablet, as well as administering prescription medication when he has needed it.
I’m always happy to meet you and your pets before a booking so you can show me their routine and tell me about their personality and anything else I need to know. Every pet is different, and I want your fur babies to feel safe, comfortable and loved while you’re away. 🐶❤️🐾
