Hello there! My name is Dayna and I’ve been caring for pets for years and genuinely love being around animals. I’ve always grown up with dogs and regularly care for my partner’s dog, so looking after animals has always been a big part of my life. I love their cute, funny and completely genuine nature. I’m definitely the type of person who has a camera roll full of photos of animals sleeping, playing or simply being adorable!

I previously had a Pawshake account where I received 5-star ratings from my clients, and I have experience caring for pets with different personalities, behavioural needs and routines. I’m also comfortable administering medications when required and understand how important it is to follow an owner’s instructions carefully.

Home Set Up:

• I work from home which means your dog won’t be left alone for long periods (maximum 1 hour if I go to the gym or to Coles/Woolworths)
• I have plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime, cuddles and company throughout the day (walks for 30 - 45 mins per walk)
• I live in an apartment with a balcony and a grassed area directly out the front
• I'm close to Adcock Park in West Gosford (great for walks)
• My home has ducted airconditioning and a wrap around balcony
• I live with my sister who is also very fond and loving with animals
  

Your Dog's Comfort & Care

• Your dogs may sleep on my bed or their bed (whatever they prefer)
• They are allowed on furniture inside and outside
• Please bring their favourite blanket, toys, or something with your smell on it (it tends to help them ease into a new environment)
• Please leave instructions on specific feeding schedules (if this is applicable)
• I enjoy taking them on adventures to the park or beach (as long as you're comfortable with this)
• I consistenly send photo updates (depdending on how frequent you prefer the communication)

I’m happy to care for dogs of different personalities and needs, but there are a few limitations with my setup. Due to allergies, I generally don’t take dogs that shed heavily, although I have cared for them in the past. I’m unable to provide in-home care for cats due to allergies, although I can offer visits to feed them if needed (I unfortunately can’t pat or play with them).
