I've been an animal lover since I was a child, growing up with cats, dogs, chickens, sheep, goats and more. I spent about 5 years caring for our 2 senior family cats before they passed away, so I'm comfortable with senior animals and even some palliative care. More recently I became a dog lover when I lived with my ex-partner and Sammy (a German Shepherd/Husky), including helping to train Sammy as a therapy dog and interacting with lots of other dogs at the local park. I've done a few casual pet sits for friends and acquaintances and now that I don't have pets in my home, am keen to spend more time with wonderful animals.

A lot of animals are drawn to me. I often have dogs come up to me quite insistently, and their humans then tell me that this is unsual for their dog. A lot of people tell me I have a calming effect on them too! 

My home is not suitable for pet sitting, however I can walk dogs around the lake in my suburb or take them to the local dog beach for off-leash time. I am comfortable with most dogs provided they respond well to training, have good recall and can walk with a loose lead particularly if they are larger.

Always happy to visit cats or other pets in their home environment, and I'm available for sleep-overs with pets I'm already familar with.
