I was previously a fur‑mother to a rescued Burmese x Persian cat who joined my life at around age 3 and lived to 10, and a rescued Maltese x Poodle who also came to me at around age 3 and lived to 18. I stepped back from pet sitting over the past few years to focus on caring for my senior dog, and now that chapter has passed, I’m returning to Pawshake with fresh availability. Giving my pets safe, stable, loving homes for so many years taught me patience, empathy, and how important it is to keep them feeling comfortable and secure in their own environment. 

As someone who has cared for cats through both personal life and volunteer work, I understand how stressful it can be when a last‑minute situation comes up and you suddenly need someone trustworthy to check in on your pet. Whether it’s an unexpected work commitment, a family emergency, or simply a well‑deserved short break, it can be hard to find reliable help at the last moment. 

If you live within my service area, I’m available to provide calm, dependable home visits so your cat can stay in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. I’ve previously volunteered with the RSPCA Op Shops in Ashmore and Bundall, back when they had adoptable cats in-store, and those months of hands‑on experience taught me how to support shy, sensitive, or independent cats with patience and gentle care.

I offer one or two daily visits, each including feeding, fresh water, litter cleaning, quiet company, playtime (if your cat enjoys it), and photo updates so you always feel connected. I don’t offer house sitting, boarding, or dog walking — my focus is on providing reliable, stress‑free drop‑in care for cats and small pets.

Cancellation/Change of Plans:

• Peak/Busy Period (Christmas, public holidays, school holidays): minimum 1 week’s notice 
• Off-Peak Period (outside of Christmas and other public holidays/school holidays): minimum 1 day’s notice
