Hey, I'm originally from Germany and have been living in Australia now for two years as my Husbands family lives here. I'm currently in the last stages of my Master's degree of Architecture and luckily its 100% online so i'm able to be flexible and work from Home. So I will have time to give your Pet all the attention they need.&nbsp;
Throughout 2023 and 2025 I met a lot of dogs through dog sitting. With all of these dogs I took them for walks, cleaned up after them and did my best to give them a great experience. Some of these dogs I looked after for a month at a time while others were only a few days. I'm happy to say I've now cared for many different breeds of dogs (Pomeranian, Australian Cattle Dog, Kelpie, Staffy) and they all had different personalities and energy levels.
I have always loved dogs and my main experiences come from two dogs called Queenie and Ella. Our family dog, Queenie (Havanese), was my responsibility to take care of as my mother was working full-time. Queenie got really sick once when my mother was on a business trip and I was able to handle the situation very well.
My brother's dog "Ella" (Staffy) was from the pound and had a difficult past. She was a dog I spent a lot of time with. Ella was so different to Queenie as she was a lot stronger and more aggressive but after training, we grew a strong bond and now she listens to all of my commands. I am proud to say I am one of her favourite people. I also have general knowledge of caring for other animals like cats, rabbits and chickens. In the Last 2 year I've sitted up to 10 different Cats and we used to have Cats and rabbits in my childhood home.

I’m really keen to become a dog walker and pet visitor, especially after losing my own much‑loved dog and realising how much I miss having a furry companion in my daily life. I’m in my 50s and a public servant by day, and spending time with animals is genuinely one of the highlights of my routine. I walked my own dog every day — rain or shine — and I’ve also walked friends’ dogs of all sizes and personalities, which I’ve always enjoyed. Being around animals makes me happy, and I take real care to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and excited for their outing. I’m available for 30‑minute or 1‑hour walks in the afternoons and evenings during the week, and most times on weekends. I encountered the greatest love of my life 3.5 years ago where I got to introduce to my bestie's labradoodle. His name is Louie and he was 2 years old back then. He loves to play ball and enjoys morning and afternoon walk. Never in my life I would thought a dog could be this gentle and loving. Ever since, I feel the love for every dog that I see everywhere. Last December 2025, I had a chance to dog sit Louie while his parent was away for 3 weeks. I walked him morning and afternoon, took him for potty and poo, prepared breakfast, dinner and snack in between, played and cuddled with him and had him as my sleeping partner. My bestie has just recently moved house and so I am missing him. He's turning 5 this years. And I feel I could share some of the love to other dogs... 
My services would include dog walking and home visits. I would usually take the dog for a walk in between 30-60 minutes, one on the morning and one in the afternoon. Normally we head to the park, or just walking around the neighbourhood area. I usually go to different routes if I take the dog for both morning and afernoon so that the dog could smell different things. With the home visit, a minimum of one hour is necessary to cover feeding, potty, making sure the water is enough, play with the dog and making sure the dog is comfortable enough before I go. But having said that, if you need me to stay longer that something that we can discuss upon. I am also happy to water the plant and bring in the mail durung home visit.

Leaving my cats at boarding houses in the past has not been ideal—they don’t like it. I’ve decided to offer the kind of service I want for my own cats.Cats prefer to stay at home, and usually take time to adjust to new locations.Staying at home limits stress and separation anxiety.&nbsp;
I look after the pets of my family and friends while they’re away, so extending this service to other people makes sense. Tailoring to your cat's needs: one or two visits a day, with quality interaction and stimulation, chasing the laser dot, or a relaxing pat or brush, depending on how they feel. I find most cats can be bribed into a pat with a treat or a game.
I have two cats who rule our roost and have my wife wrapped around their little paws: Pickles and Chai. Chai is a feral rescue cat; it took two months of slowly working up to hand-feeding her before we could pet her. Fast forward 12 months, and she sleeps on us and spends most of her time with me. We then rescued Pickles as a companion for Chai. Pickles is quite the character— Pickles loves everyone! She likes to sleep in odd positions, and can’t get enough of games like chasing the laser dot or stickball; Pickles prefers her grass hand cut by me!
I am currently building them an outdoor cat run and catio enclosure; they’re super excited. I hope to offer custom catio building as a service in the future.&nbsp;
A bit more about me: I grew up on farms in country Victoria with horses, cattle, sheep, chickens, dogs, and cats. We had around 30 cats on the farm in stables and other sheds, and they’d visit the dairy next door daily for free milk. Over the years, I gained experience looking after all sorts of animals, even working with vets on the farm, dealing with various problems - I know how to handle an emergency.I spent 18 years looking after horses for clients, some with values well over $100K.We also ran Cattle and sheep.And there were the house cats and dogs.I have extensive experience caring for animals of all sizes.
Due to a motorcycle accident that resulted in a spinal injury, I found myself recovering in bed for 12 months with my old cat, Mushroom, as my constant companion. Mushroom was a big help in getting me through one of the darkest times in my life. I really do know from experience how important our pets are; they’re family.Before my motorcycle accident, I worked in Real Estate for many years. I have done thousands of home inspections in that capacity.
