Hi, I'm Amit, a Melbourne-based pet lover who is happiest with a furry companion by my side.

I grew up with neighbourhood dogs in India and have always loved playing silly games with them. Over the years I have looked after cats and dogs for family and friends, in India, the US and Finland. I understand that handing over your pet is a big step, so I treat every animal as if it were my own.

What I offer

• Dog walking: 30 or 60 minute walks around Glen Waverley, with fresh water and a towel-down afterwards if it's muddy.
• Home visits: visits at your place for feeding, fresh water, play, cuddles, toilet breaks and a quick tidy of any mess.
• Daycare: Your pet can spend the day at my home 8am to 8pm, with company, play, walks and rest.
• Boarding: If it suits you better, your pet is welcome to stay at my home, where they'll get plenty of attention and company.
• Daily updates: You'll get regular photos and a short message so you always know how your pet is doing.

Good to know

• I'm happy to care for dogs and cats.
• I live in a suburban house with my wife and daughter. We have no pets of our own, so your pet gets my full attention.
• Time alone: Pets are never left alone for more than 2-3 hours. Someone is home for most of the day.
• Safety at my place: My backyard is completely fenced, so dogs can enjoy play and toilet breaks there safely. My front yard is unfenced, so dogs only go there on a lead and with me beside them. Doors and gates are kept closed so nobody wanders off.
• I'm flexible on availability, including weekends and holidays.

I'm happy to arrange a free meet and greet first, so you and your pet can get to know me before booking. I'd love to hear about your pet's quirks and routine.
