I am a caring and reliable house and pet sitter currently based in Sydney. As I am travelling and staying in hostels, I focus exclusively on house and pet sitting in the owner’s home. This allows pets to remain in their familiar, calm and stress-free environment while their owners are away, which I believe is essential for their well-being.
I grew up surrounded by animals and have always shared a strong bond with them. I lived for several years with my family dog and grew up with a rescued cat, giving me a deep understanding of both dogs’ and cats’ needs and behaviours. I have regularly done pet sitting for family members and acquaintances, sometimes caring for several dogs and cats at the same time. Through these experiences, I have looked after young and energetic pets requiring frequent walks and stimulation, as well as older animals needing a slower pace, patience and extra attention.
My approach to house sitting is to follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding times, walks, playtime and quiet moments. I pay close attention to pet safety, ensure doors and gates are secure, and keep the home clean, organised and respected at all times. I am comfortable administering basic medication and following specific care instructions.
In case of unexpected situations or emergencies, I remain calm, act responsibly and immediately contact the owner while following any instructions provided. Clear communication is very important to me: I regularly send updates and photos so owners feel reassured and informed throughout the stay. I treat every home and every pet with genuine care, respect and commitment.
